We are a small family clinic that strives to provide personal attention to our clients and our patients. We enjoy getting to know all about you, your family, and your pets. Because of this do not be surprised if we recognize you when you come in or when you are about town. We will treat your pet as if it was our own, giving each animal individual attention and care. We work in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy caring for our patient's and making you part of our family. We treat cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents and rabbits.
We do not let our patients stay in pain. We have a variety of both injectable and oral medications for pain control. We give pain medication before and after surgery, and send pain medication home with pets that have had surgery. We will not send an animal home if we do not feel its pain can be adequately controlled with oral medication. With some sensitive pets this may result in an extra day or two in the hospital.
We keep all our major surgery patients overnight to ensure that they are not in pain, eating, drinking, urinating, defecating and not suffering any complications from surgery. This includes spays and neuters, as these are major surgeries. There are no exceptions to this policy.
If your pet is sick, it often takes time to fix it and we like to make sure the medicines and treatments are working, this often means that we will ask you to leave your pet with us so we can closely monitor its response to treatment and make sure it makes a timely recovery.
If you are bringing in a pet that is having a problem urinating, defecating, or is vomiting. If possible, please bring in a sample of the urine, stool or vomit, for us to examen.
We strive to provide your pet personal attention and the best possible care. We are happy to answer any questions you have. Please Call any time.
